He Provides

   I’m not going to lie.  I was pretty sure that Brett and I weren’t going to be able to raise all the money we needed to go on this trip.  We paid for our own tickets back in May and still had $1500 to go.  Plus we had made it a goal to raise an extra $1000 to give to EAC.

I honestly started putting a little bit of money aside to help pay the difference.  This is how sure of myself I was.

Fundraiser 1:  Car Wash/Bake Sale

Friends and family came out to help wash cars and sell some baked goods!

Fundraiser 2:  Letters

    When we would go on mission’s trips back when we were in Youth Group we would send out letters to inform people of our trip.  This letter was to also ask friends and family for prayer and for donations.  Brett and I don’t enjoy this fundraiser.  It makes us feel awkward.  But my mom kindly reminded me that many people enjoy receiving these letters and are happy to help.  Needless to say, most of the money we raised was from people responding to our letters. (Thank You!)

Friends and family put together AMAZING baskets to be raffled off that night.

After 3 Fundraisers we have raised triple the original amount needed.  We are blown away and feel so blessed.  Everyone has been so generous with their prayers and donations.  God proved me very wrong.  Why did I doubt?? How silly.  God provides.

Our God will always provide.
